DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN LA PAZ AND CITY EXPLORATION
Welcome to La Paz, Bolivia, the highest capital in the world! After your arrival, you’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of this fascinating city. Begin by exploring the famous Witches Market, a unique place where local vendors sell everything from medicinal herbs to spiritual items used in traditional Andean ceremonies. From there, visit the historic San Francisco Cathedral, a stunning example of Spanish colonial architecture. Continue your tour to the main squares, including Plaza Murillo, where you can experience Bolivia’s rich political history.
In the afternoon, we recommend a visit to the magical Moon Valley 🌕, just a 30-minute drive from downtown La Paz. The area features otherworldly landscapes that resemble the surface of the moon, making it a perfect spot for a short hike and photography. Later, take a ride on the La Paz cable car 🚡, the world’s highest urban cable car, and enjoy panoramic views of the city and the surrounding Andes mountains. Finally, settle into your accommodation at the charming Qantu Hotel for a relaxing evening.

DAY 2: VISIT TO THE UYUNI SALT FLATS
No trip to Bolivia would be complete without visiting the Uyuni Salt Flats, one of the most iconic natural wonders in the world 🌌. Today, you'll embark on a full-day adventure to this surreal landscape. After an early breakfast, transfer to La Paz Airport for a short 35-minute flight to the town of Uyuni. Once there, the journey begins with a visit to the historic Train Cemetery, where you can explore rusting locomotives that were once the backbone of Bolivia’s mining industry.
From there, travel to the village of Colchani, where you’ll see the traditional process of salt extraction. Continue your tour across the vast salt plains, stopping at the “Ojos de Sal” (Salt Eyes), where water mysteriously bubbles up through the salt crust. Afterward, you’ll visit the famous Inca Huasi Island 🌵, home to giant cacti and offering unparalleled views of the endless salt flats.
Make sure to bring warm clothing, as temperatures drop dramatically in the evening. Overnight at a unique salt hotel in the village of San Juan, where the walls, beds, and furniture are made entirely of salt. DAY 3: VOLCANOES, LAGOONS, AND FLAMINGOES
After an early breakfast, head south through the desolate beauty of the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve, where you’ll encounter stunning landscapes dominated by extinct volcanoes and vibrant high-altitude lagoons. Keep your camera ready for encounters with three species of flamingos 🦩 at the Laguna Colorada, an amazing red-colored lake.
You’ll also pass by other colorful lagoons, such as Laguna Cañapa, Laguna Hedionda, and Laguna Honda, each offering unique opportunities for wildlife observation. The day ends with a visit to the surreal rock formations in the Siloli Desert, including the iconic "Stone Tree." Return to Uyuni in the evening, where you’ll take a flight back to La Paz for a well-deserved rest at the Qantu Hotel.
DAY 4: LA PAZ REST DAY OR OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS
After three days of adventure, you can either rest and enjoy the amenities of La Paz or choose one of the many optional excursions available. For the thrill-seekers, ride down the infamous Death Road by mountain bike, a daring 64-kilometer descent that takes you from the heights of La Paz to the lush Yungas region 🌿.
If you'd prefer a more relaxed day, visit the Valley of the Lost Souls or trek through the Palca Canyon. Alternatively, delve into Bolivia's ancient history with a visit to the Tiwanaku archaeological site 🏛️, where you’ll explore one of the most important pre-Inca civilizations in South America.
DAY 5: HUAYNA POTOSI CLIMB (DAY 1)
Today marks the beginning of your ascent to Huayna Potosi (6088m), one of the most accessible 6000-meter peaks in the world. While suitable for beginners, the climb requires good physical fitness and proper acclimatization. All necessary climbing gear, including ice axes, ropes, helmets, and crampons, will be provided by your guide.
The trek begins with a 2.5-hour drive from La Paz to the base of the mountain. From there, you’ll trek for four hours to reach the high camp at 5270 meters, where you'll spend the night in a mountain refuge. This first day of the climb allows you to acclimatize and prepare for the final push to the summit.
DAY 6: HUAYNA POTOSI CLIMB (DAY 2)
The final ascent starts at midnight 🌠. With the help of your experienced guide, you’ll climb the glacier, navigating steep slopes up to 60 degrees. After several hours of challenging trekking, you’ll reach the summit just in time to watch the sunrise over the majestic Cordillera Real. The views from the top are unforgettable, offering 360-degree panoramas of snow-capped peaks and the sprawling landscape below.
After spending a short time at the summit, you’ll begin the descent back to high camp, then continue to base camp before returning to La Paz. This evening, if you’re still craving more adventure, you can attend the famous Cholita Wrestling Show, where local women perform in traditional wrestling matches, offering a fun and unique way to cap off your trip.
DAY 7: FLY HOME
