About Uakari Floating Lodge
🌿🏨 Located inside the Mamirauá Reserve, the Uakari Lodge is a rustic and comfortable floating hotel, completely integrated into its surroundings. The lodge is managed by Mamirauá Institute for Sustainable Development and the local communities. Its main tasks are to promote conservation of the natural resources in the area, to provide income for local communities and strengthen their organization.🔍🌳 The program is rich and informative. Activities involve local guides, who enriches the visitor’s experience with their traditional knowledge. There is in the lodge as well a naturalist guide bilingual (English/Portuguese) who provides scientific knowledge of the Amazon nature.💚👥 Uakari Lodge is a community based tourism initiative and staying with us you contributes with the support environmental rate which is used for support community development projects, patrolling of the area and activities that promote the conservation of the natural resources of Mamirauá Sustainable Development Reserve.
